This early 20th century machine made Tapestry called "La Bonne Chanson" which translates to "The Good Song". The picture shows a group of men in 17th century dress. They are gathered around a wine barrel and are singing, and there is a lute player. I have taken a number of pictures showing all the activity portrayed, such as the lady on the staircase and the bird in the cage. It is marked on the back "Made in France". The first pic has been lightened to show detail, the other pics are close to the true colour, time has aged the colours to gorgeous muted quiet tones. It is in excellent condition and can be hung as is or framed. I have seen this retail on other sites for over $300.00, therefore I feel that my asking price is very reasonable. It measures approximately 39 inches X 68 inches.
